We went to many cities in Japan: Kobe, Osaka, Himeji, Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima, and Tokyo. We visited shrines, temples, museums, shopping districts, art exhibits, performances/events, and got to try incredible food. We visited these cities via shinkansen (bullet train), trains, subways, ferries, and tour busses. We also got to talk and work with students from Kobe University.
This experience was incredible and I am so grateful to have gone. I learned and experienced so much that I never would have been able to without the program. I was able to learn how to navigate and communicate in Japan, along with the connections I made with students at Kobe University.
