Each year, the Center for Global Engagement (CGE) offers seed money to faculty and staff to help grow international education programs. We can help you shape a rewarding experience for your students.
The Programs Abroad office staff encourages proposals from faculty for the development of study abroad programs or exchange courses. To support program development, the CGE is making matching funds available for site visits to those who are planning such programs.
Matching funds may be granted in the amount of up to $1,500 per program, based on reasonable cost estimates. The CGE grant will cover no more than one half of the cost of travel expenses related directly to program development. The remaining half is to come from other sources, such as department or college funds or private funds.
NOTE: Full-time UT faculty and staff are eligible to apply for a CGE grant. Funds are not for individual research or student attendance at conferences. Preference will be given to faculty and staff who have not received prior funding. Only one person per site visit will be funded.
