About me:
“What I’m looking forward to the most about studying abroad in Singapore is having easy access to immerse myself in many diverse cultures, forming new friendships with individuals from all over the world, learning from exceptional professors, collaborating with likeminded classmates and exploring the amazing infrastructure and tropical environment in Singapore and even being in proximity to neighboring countries which allows much travel during these few months! I can’t wait to create so many memories and pave the path forward for students wanting to study abroad in unique locations!”

Taylor Moore (she/her)
- Senior from Knoxville, TN
- Asian Studies major, Japanese minor
- Kansai Gaidai University (Exchange) | AY 2023-24
About me:
“I have had so many experiences throughout my time here in Japan so far, and a number of them have prepared me for my life beyond UT. Because of the various types of people I have been able to meet, I have been made aware of numerous opportunities for the future. As I am a senior, finding a job after graduation is one of the most important things to me right now, and being able to branch out and meet so many people doing what I want to do has been a huge help. On top of that, since I am learning another language, being able to immerse myself completely has been incredible. Studying abroad has also aided me in becoming more independent and learning all of the necessary skills needed for life on my own.”

“I am most looking forward to pushing myself and seeing how far I can excel when far away from my comfort zone. I am primarily hoping to engage with students who are unsure about which study abroad program is the best fit for them; as a peer who has undertaken a shorter, faculty-directed program and will experience a longer affiliate program, I can compare the two and offer insight into both.”
